I didn't enjoy doing the book report this way. I prefer to organize and type my thoughts on my own. I think that it was too difficult to type this way without feedback. I like to read teacher's comments on paper. I woudl prefer to return to the other way of learning where I read and write by myselt to reash a higher level of English. I like the assignments but I prefer to receive them in class. I am a slow typer in English.

Diary
Write a diary that one of the story's main characters might have kept before, during, or after the book's events. Remember that the character's thoughts and feelings are very important in a diary. [At least three entries]
Diary of Rebecca Bloomwood
1. Dear Diary,
Today I bought the most beautiful pair of boots. They were very expensive and I know that I really really really shouldn't have bought them because I can't afford them BUT I HAD to have them!!! They make me so happy! I wore them tonight when I went to dinner with friends and met the most gorgous guy in the world and he gave me his phone number so these are now my lucky boots. I am going to sleep to have very sweet dreams!!
Rebecca
2. Dear Diary,
I just got home from a "hard" day at work to find a HUGE stack of letter from way too many credit card companies and my bank. I should buy a paper shredder and shred them all but I know better and I will bury them under my other stack of letters. I saw the cutest handbag the other day and it's from Prada - my fave!!! Should I buy it??? no, I probably shouldn't but who cares I WANT it!!!
Rebecca
3. Dear Diary,
I started a new job today and believe it or not I actually like it. It's at "Morning Coffee" the most watched morning tv show and my segment is called - get this: successful saving. I advise people how to save when buying thing and how to balance one's finances. can you believe that I advise others about saving when I can't do it myself. who knows maybe one day I'll take my own advise!!!
Rebecca
The Ending
Rebecca becomes a guest on the show Morning Coffee. While on the show she meets up with her longtime friend Luke Brandon. He was her manager at her previous job.
The following is my ending:
Luke said something on the show that upset Rebecca "someone here gets insulted form every little thing" and he looked at Rebecca. She started arguing with him about their relationship, for example, Rebecca thought that they would become a couple but that didn't happen. Luke took Rebecca shopping to buy his girlfriend a gift and that's when Rebecca realized that she wouldn't become his girlfriend so she left angrily from the store. Back on the show Rebecca and Luke argued about their relationship and the audience started to lose their patience and stared to boo them. At the comercial break the hosts took them backstage and asked them to leave the show even though their part wasn't over yet.
The fight didn't end after they were thrown off the show they continued to argue and then suddenly Rebecca slapped Luke on his face. They both then left the building and went their own way.
A few days later they bumped into each other in a coffe shop while Rebecca was sitting with another guy and that's when Luke realized that Rebecca is not interested in him so he left. Rebecca and "the other guy" lived happily ever after.
Enter the Book
I will need to pack first my wallet, for I'll be shopping with Rebecca. But I must also keep my mind so that I do not spend as much as she does. I would pack my diary, because like Rebecca's I would want to record my daily activities. I would pack my clothes, but I know they are not like Rebecca's. I'd take my cellphone and my ipod too so I could stay in touch with my family and listen to music which is to me what clothes are to Rebecca.

The Setting
The book takes place in England. More specifically, the main character lives in London in apartment number two at 4, Bourney Road. Her apartment is tiny but stylish and of high quality. It has a small kitchen and four rooms. There are two bedrooms, one for her and one for her roommamte Suze, a living room, a kitchen, and one bathroom. In her bedroom she has two huge closets to hold all her clothes. A book she reads to cure herself from shopping tells her to throw all her clothes out, but she does not. She just puts all her clothes into bags in the closets.
(Looking for images I found none that were like what I imagine Rebecca to have since on the internet all closets are nice and organized and neat. I imagine Rebecca's closets as two big white closets with a mess of clothes inside.)
Another setting in the book is Rebecca's office. Her office is made of walls of glass. Everyone at work can see her and her two office mates working. This is new in the office since the boss thought they were not working hard. With glass walls he can keep an eye on them. They do work better when the boss is around, but do not when he is not there.
Another setting is the shops where Rebecca always goes. The credit cards she uses in them (she has more than four) keep getting refused.
